The eye of the hurricane

This posting is for my sister who is going through a very tough time right now and who has been trying her best to remain calm and focused while the winds of discord and loss whip around her.

Would you please join me in sending her loving thoughts of healing and support and maybe leaving a loving comment below for her?

Stay strong and centered my beautiful sister. Even the most devastating hurricanes eventually blow themselves out into gentle rain and then sunshine. And being the strong survivor that you are, you too will rebuild and recover from this storm.

With love to you and your WHOLE family!

xxxooo,

Jan

You are a great sister, clearly.

Thanks Kristina. I wish I could do more. Would you mind recruiting some folks to leave her messages of support here so I can show her that she's not alone?

Thanks for being such a great blog friend! I LOVE your blog!

Hi sis. I am so sorry to hear you are going through these trials. No matter how dark things seem right now, things will get better. You already have the support of your loving sister, Jan.

I find it helps to put my feelings in my blog. Sometimes they are goodd feelings and sometimes not so good. But once I put the words down, I always feel better.

Huggsssss and I'll keep you in my trove of prayers.

Wow, you really said it all in your post to your sister. She is very lucky to have you there for her.

I would also encourage her to not give up. Hang in there. There WILL be a better day. Tough times tend to make us stronger people. So whatever is happening, just know that because of it, we become better.
God bless.

Hi Jan's sister,
No hurricane is too big for you to weather through it. Oh gosh, that pun was AWFUL. :) But, the message is true. Stay strong and lean on those around you whose shoulders are begging for a lean-on. And remember that every storm has an end, and after every storm comes peace.
Love,
Kavita

Jan's sister - thinking good thoughts and praying for you and yours. Hang in there, don't give up, and remember you're not alone. You've got a great sister on your side and lots of us pulling for you.

You seem to be on the same wave length as me...

I will send my thoughts her way...I believe in support, and if you go to my 'Behind The Wheel Chef' blog you will see the newest positive support I am into, teaching inner city kids...

I had support through my daughters illness and then passing, and it hangs with you, so things will get better...Law of Attraction is a good meditation as well...

Hi Jan's Sister!

I don't know what the nature of the storm is, but I do know that that folks like Punkn, Karla, Queenie - and me along with your sister, have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Weather the storm - come out the other side stronger. Give a shout if you want anything. Helpful hands are around.

Thanks everyone. It worked. I talked to her today and she felt the sunshine on her face and the calm enter her heart. Seriously, she felt the support of so many people thinking of her with loving thoughts.

I am so grateful for you all!

Thank you all for your kind words, encouragement and support. I do have the greatest sister ever! She has helped weather the storm even thousands of miles away and your thoughts, prayers and support have truly helped.

It's another day on the East coast and we'll see what that day will bring. G-d willing it will be a little calm and peace and some moments of pure unadultuarated joy if possible!
